Crosses, Groundcover, Resiliency, Spiritual Strength

Sometimes when I’m feeling tired and unsure, especially in this writing process, my Lord shows with up with the sweetest surprises.

And, once again, I’m reminded.

He is everywhere.

I want to flourish that little plant, no matter where He plants me.

Strong and Resilient.

This little ruffled plant’s got to be female, right?

See how she combines beauty and toughness.

I’m amazed at her resiliency.

Her Back Story

A long time ago, a friend gave me a thumbnail start of this ground cover. Every year, she shows back up and spreads along the spaces in our aging patio.

Drop by. I’ll introduce you.

Don’t you love this laugh-out-loud discovery?

I’d love to hear how he speaks to you.

The earth is the Lord’s,<span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NIV-14243A" data-link="(A)” style=”box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;”> and everything in it,

    the world, and all who live in it;

Ps. 24:1

  1. Thank you for the encouragement. I hope to write The End this week then start rewrites and suffle some chapters around. When that's done, Id be happy to share it and get your thoughts.

  2. I find hearts everywhere. Seriously, I have a large collection of small rocks in heart shapes. They just jump up out of the ground when I'm walking by and say, “Pick me! Pick me!” Ha!
Actually, I was depressed about where we lived and hearts just abounded, making me rethink a few things. You know.

  3. I love hearts, too, and I love the way God puts little encouragers in our paths as reminders that He knows where we are and how we are feeling. I have a couple of rocks shaped like a heart that I display.
