Who knew moss resembled tiny stars? |
Do you get excited when you stumble upon whimsical expressions of nature like this tiny moss heart or little bird nest? I sure do. They remind me of the intricate details in all God’s handiwork.
It delights me to move them from one spot to another as I seek the perfect display space.
May we never lose our awe of God’s beautiful creation.
I’d love to hear about your latest Find.
Then God saw everything that He had made,
and, indeed it was very good.

I'm a lover of God, mother of three, grandmother of eight, and a collector of friends. I like nothing better than talking, listening, laughing and eating with that crowd. My husband, Terry, and I feel blessed to wake up each day to a magnificent view of the Arkansas River. An amazing variety of creatures, from bobcats and coyotes to deer, bunnies and nutria, along with all sorts of birds roam the natural area behind our house. We also share our home with three silly kitties. I often find a lesson in what I see both indoors and out on any given day and usually find myself writing about it. I hope you'll join me in exploring the ways God speaks to us through His creation.

Dorothy, I had a delightful Find this morning. Gene and I were relaxing by our son's pool, with our coffee when we noticed a bug on its back in the water, trying desperatly to turn over. It was some kind of beetle.Gene took the leaf skimmer net and picked the bug up. As soon as Gene brought the net to the poolside, the bug flapped its wings and flew away. We were delighted to find that it was a June Bug, and we were happy to see it fly away. Small thing. Big surprise.

Thank you, Corinne. It's just a matter of keeping our eyes open for these little things, isn't it?
