When Trouble comes — and it will —
When You want take to your Bed,
I hope You’ll Dance instead.
Not like a Grownup,
but like You’re Three or Four,
Head up, Heart open,
Happy Barefoot Dancing!
Sing along, too!
It’ll take a Head Adjustment,
But if You Let Go and Follow your Heart,
You might just Sing and Dance
Yourself into JOY!
BETTER THAN PILLS, BETTER THAN BOOZE AND FREE TO BOOT!
Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. Ps. 149:3
|
… for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Neh. 8:10b

I'm a lover of God, mother of three, grandmother of eight, and a collector of friends. I like nothing better than talking, listening, laughing and eating with that crowd. My husband, Terry, and I feel blessed to wake up each day to a magnificent view of the Arkansas River. An amazing variety of creatures, from bobcats and coyotes to deer, bunnies and nutria, along with all sorts of birds roam the natural area behind our house. We also share our home with three silly kitties. I often find a lesson in what I see both indoors and out on any given day and usually find myself writing about it. I hope you'll join me in exploring the ways God speaks to us through His creation.

Just the thought of “barefoot happy” makes me happy! Makes me feel good, like stepping barefoot on the dust of the Banner Mountain road.

Glad to hear it! I bet you spent many days running around on little bare feet. I did!
